I'm writing today. Not what I should be, of course. But I need to get the muse caught back up with what I want from her. 2k so far this morning. It's a nice stretch going into a foggy weekend.

Thank you for letting me vent last night. I contemplated erasing both that post and the one of my Facebook because I knew I was at the end of my reserves for the day. I knew that, in fact, as soon as I saw the blue-haired girl on Pinterest and started to cry. Yes, real tears over something silly.

I should have erased the post but you guys are so great and gave me wonderful encouragement. Thank you!

But that's not really what I'm here to talk about. I'm here to bring you a little inspiration for this weekend. I love keys. They offer so much promise. What door do they open? What's on the other side? Or maybe they start a car... or a boat... or a tank. Or they unlock a secret garden. Or a fish aquarium. Rusted or new, long or short, plain or ornate. It doesn't matter. Keys are tiny bits of inspiration.

4200 words later, I have one story done. Still not the story I need to have done! grrrr....

I've finally found the "rut" of the Avengers world I'm going to be putting most every story into. It's one I've dabbled in now and then. Clint and Natasha are a couple, although they're still ironing out their relationship. Bruce is sort of edging into their world, grafting himself into their relationship. I've alluded to it a couple of times but I plan on writing something that addresses it directly. Right now, I like that he guards them. Then there's Steve and Darcy. I'm going to return to the "this is how we met" story and see if I can't take it further. It fits very nicely into the Las Vegas storyline of my secret santa story, them being off camera and away somewhere, getting to know each other.

I'm not sure where to put Tony. I've played around with a Tony/Bruce world. I've also given great thought to keeping him single. I don't write a great lot of Tony-centric stories, even in my head, so he doesn't really need to be paired up. And what if I did? Who says he has the mental space for a relationship? Who says he's going to date in his friends group at all?

Okay, off to find another mind set because there are stories that need to be FINISHED.

I just finished watching Pitch Perfect for the first time. While looking up something else on Google, I came across the Horizontal Running gif and went looking for the movie. I rented it from Amazon but I really think I'm going to need to own it! Or I need to see how many times I watch it in the next 48 hours!

I'm such a sucker for a capella music. And I'm a little disappointed that the end credits are just music. :(

I need some Beca icons!
