I love stationery too, even though most of my writing is done on the pc now. I did spend a nice week where I tried writing by hand. Yes, it's a pain to type up, but yes, you can limit the editing until you do it during the typing up (and not get distracted by emails and google etc while writing!) so it's a very different experience. And ditto on inspiration. If I go somewhere different or just for a walk I often get ideas :)
