An interesting meme

Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] sabersailor

You comment, and I'll tell you:

1. Something I'll learn about you by looking at your LJ page for 13 seconds.
2. Which color you remind me of.
3. My first memory of you.
4. What TV character you remind me of.
5. Ask you something I've always wondered about you, and your answer has to be as vague as possible to keep the suspense.
6. My favorite thing about you.
7. Give you a weird nickname.
8. What's the last song I've listened to (I'm going to add that reminds me of you).
9. Challenge you to post this on your journal (only if you want to).

Ah. I see the problem here. I meant mine entirely in jest! Which would be difficult to pick up on, given that I have been angsting over it, I know, haha. Kelly cheered me up considerably this evening and that was the first joke I cracked about being a final-year student. I can understand it being taken a bit more seriously than I had intended. (:

(Side point: they have weight on driver's licenses?! I completely missed this! Mine just has my height - which is considerably more embarrassing than my weight sometimes, giggles.)

You're not really adding to it. If you were adding to it, I would probably take the same route as your irritation - by not responding, not feeling up to clarifying at all. Asking means I care about the response and am not hurt beyond caring. It does make me feel better - thank you!

To be honest, I didn't glance at the icon. I shall have to give it a look and remember it is in jest. (: I love this icon.

I think I remember you mentioning you hadn't seen Rizzoli & Isles yet, but I'm hoping you do, so I'll express it in terms of that. Sometimes I feel like Maura would feel on the Internet - at a loss for the meaning of statements without facial musculature, bodily reactions and voice tone to guide the way. The Internet just makes things difficult, so I like to clarify before I get hurt. (: Thank you for responding.

It's a show I need to see, for sure! With any luck, it's one I'll catch on either Hulu or Netflix (when it comes out there) but I'm also hoping they show endless reruns of it since TNT is so good at that.

I love your icon (I am taking care to look now :P ). I have never actually seen any TNT television, but yes, I hope they show reruns! Should be relatively easy to catch up on since there are only 10 episodes. I hope you enjoy it!

And I did get the joking of your post! Mine was something similar in tone. It would have worked better in person, you're right.

Oh, the Internet: such a place to stumble about making a fool of myself. :P I think that's why I took on using emoticons so often, so people would know an approximation of my tone/expression! :B (Not that I have buck teeth, as that one would suggest.)

So much works better in person. But sometimes, in-person conversations would work better online! Strange, that. Wish there was a hand guide.
