Land Comms

Guess who is a proud member of [livejournal.com profile] scifiland's Team AntiHero?

ME! Well, as soon as I get my invite to the team comm, that is.

Anyone want to make me a snazzy sigtag? *bats eyelashes*

I'm going to give some up at the break. Thinking seriously about giving up [livejournal.com profile] whedonland which would make me incredibly sad as I have all sorts of friends there but a lot of them seem to be leaving, too. My team is still wonderful but I don't feel that the community in general is as deserving of my loyalty.

I enjoy the challenges at [livejournal.com profile] themiddleearth but kinda feel like I'm floating off by myself. Part of the problem is that I don't really know anyone on my team and they don't do a lot of social things.

*sigh* [livejournal.com profile] castleland is going to go. I like the comm and I like my team but I have no muse where Castle is concerned. How sad is that?

[livejournal.com profile] leverageland is iffy at this point. [livejournal.com profile] inception_land looked to be dying but it was revived but I've had nothing good happen at that comm so I'm going to let them cut me. I was called "hon" by a 18 year old. It's just wrong.

Land comms (and most comms in general) go through phases and I keep telling myself to hold out and maybe it'll get fun again because I would hate to miss out on the fun. I think I'm going to end up being a pain in the butt if I stay, though. It literally grind my teeth or roll my eyes when I look at the wording on some of the challenges. It might be all in my head but it's not going to be pretty if I stay.

Of course, everyone talks about [livejournal.com profile] scifiland like it's THE place to be these days. A good motto is: Always follow the fun and try not to be the drag!

It's good to be wrapped up in your own world every so often. As long as you don't alienate your friends, it's all good. The important thing is to do what is good for YOU.

And you bored as a mod is still THREE TIMES BETTER than most of the places I'm at! *g*

I keep thinking that as well. Also that my co mods will kill me because we'll they are fine being back up neither wants to be the main mod. But this is the first round I've had no desire to do the challenges. I'll likely decide soon as the round is almost over. And I'll talk to both of the other mods first too.

I love Team Anti hero, though it has a great deal to do with that the team is basically the people I talk to these days on twitter and whatnot. :P

I go through phases. Right now I'm liking my group very small and one talking to only a couple people really. Thing is a lot of people are doing this all at once. It's weird. Everyone is getting a new lj or twitter or whatever to cut back on people. I'm wondering if people's mood are rubbing off on one another or if like me and Lisa the end of JJverse followed by B-day week sucked all landcomm love out of us, haha.

And thanks!! I'm struggling these days, but try as much as I can.
