Did you know you can now SUBSCRIBE to your favorite authors on Archive of Our Own? I would love to add you to my list! I have a few of you already listed but there are some of you that I either don't remember your name or don't know if you were on that site or not. Leave me a reply and let me know what your screen name is there so I can follow you!

I'm on there with my usual online name, but I write fanfic for crap experimentation fun. So it's a mixed back of anything I wanted to practice writing. Subscribing is a nice feature they have now. AO3 is really a spiffy place.

Thanks! My goal is to someday resurrect Lorna and write stories about her as the doctor's companion. OR as Jenny's companion. I'm undecided as who gets to keep her just yet. I have this crazy idea about Jenny bouncing along in her dad's time stream, righting any wrongs that may have happened while he was there. *grins*

I've discovered that I would be better off using another location for some of my fandoms. They aren't as large on AO3 but I like it because it's convenient and I don't have to worry about keeping track of a thousand different locations. A couple of years ago, I almost lost a bunch of old stuff because the site closed down. That put the fear of God into me about where I keep my stuff!

Whoa, AO3 closed down?! I didn't know that. I started out with ff.net, so I'm sticking with it. I'm also posting fic here on LJ through my writing/graphics community. AO3 is more like a back-up for me. Once I have the time, I'll be archiving all my works there.

No, a completely different site. I figure that AO3 WON'T close down. The other one was small and privately funded and the person decided to close it down and luckily I found out in time to get most everything I had there. You only have to learn that lesson once!

If AO3 closes down, I still have my ff.net and LJ back-ups, so I figure I'll be fine for a while. Hopefully. I wouldn't want to have the lesson stuffed into my face. :/

The subscribe function was long overdue and makes the archive more usable :D Found and added you. My link is in my sidebar - meridianrose - but you should get a 'subscribed to you' email anyway.
