This week has not been a good on in Lar World.
Monday - my Gramma falls down and breaks her hip AND coworker was sick so I worked the entire day. Got some good word counts for the day regardless of all the work.
Tuesday - my Gramma had surgery and came out well and I went to visit even though I wasn't feeling well. Even with the visit, I still got my word count.
Wednesday - It was relatively good day and I wrote all evening long. It was beautiful!
Thursday - I woke up in the middle of the night with my body wracked with fever. Never understood just what that meant exactly. I tried going to work but the energy it took to drive there made me pale and shaky so they sent me home. Started feeling a bit better in the evening. Didn't write much.
Friday - I already had it off but I was supposed to write, write, write. I don't know if it's the chapter that I've having trouble with or it's hard to get words out around the ickiness wrapping me in its embrace. Stupid fever kept me from sleeping much but I got a nap in.
My word count is 23342/50000 (all the pretty graphs keep NOT WORKING so I'll just do this for now) and I'm hoping to get a decent word count for today. I'm also hoping that I'm not sick tomorrow as I'd like to go visit my Gramma again. She'll be in the hospital for another week and we hope that she'll keep doing well. Odds are good that she won't really recover completely but she's been deteriorating for awhile now. Oh well. If I'm doing that well in my 80s, I won't complain.
