Do you read J.R. Ward (a different sort of vampire story... with hot guys) or Nalini Singh (we really, really like her archangel books)? I haven't read any of his books this year (which is a pity) but I love LOVE Charles de Lint. He's my inspiration for starting to write urban fantasy which sort of segued into a steampunk sort of thing.
