This drabble SUCKS but I'm putting it up just because I spent SO MUCH time working on this. Oh well. Sometimes you've got it...sometimes you've just got 100 words.

Summer was a miserable season for Lavender, but this summer, sixteen years under her belt of dealing with the tourists that came through her mother’s tiny shop near the Loch, she was ready for one spent her way.
“So, where do you go to school?”
She frowned at the boy next to her. If this was the type of thing they were going to talk about after a kiss like that….
“I’d like to keep seeing you,” he tried again.
With a sigh, Lavender got up. “Fine. Remember, you asked.”
She needed to remember to be more gentle next time.
