Disclaimer: Please don't throw up over the pairing until you read it because even I waited until I finished writing it.
“Oh, Duncan. I’m so happy,” Veronica purred into her boyfriend’s neck.
“Of course you are. When you’re yellow, it means you’re happy.”
She looked up at him quizzically, the tiny smile gracing his lips as she tried to figure out what he meant. “Are you saying I have jaundice?”
“Hold up your hand.” When she did (and after he kissed it), he passed his own hand through the aura that surrounded her skin. “See? Yellow. This is a memory sequence. We’ll always be happy in our memories. No sadness here.”
Veronica nodded. The color yellow was now her absolute favorite.
