Ah. I see the problem here. I meant mine entirely in jest! Which would be difficult to pick up on, given that I have been angsting over it, I know, haha. Kelly cheered me up considerably this evening and that was the first joke I cracked about being a final-year student. I can understand it being taken a bit more seriously than I had intended. (:
(Side point: they have weight on driver's licenses?! I completely missed this! Mine just has my height - which is considerably more embarrassing than my weight sometimes, giggles.)
You're not really adding to it. If you were adding to it, I would probably take the same route as your irritation - by not responding, not feeling up to clarifying at all. Asking means I care about the response and am not hurt beyond caring. It does make me feel better - thank you!
To be honest, I didn't glance at the icon. I shall have to give it a look and remember it is in jest. (: I love this icon.
I think I remember you mentioning you hadn't seen Rizzoli & Isles yet, but I'm hoping you do, so I'll express it in terms of that. Sometimes I feel like Maura would feel on the Internet - at a loss for the meaning of statements without facial musculature, bodily reactions and voice tone to guide the way. The Internet just makes things difficult, so I like to clarify before I get hurt. (: Thank you for responding.
