stopping to think

While reading the Daily Snitch, I came across this entry about a young fanfiction writer that died. I highly recommend you page down and read the eulogy that her father wrote out.

I don't mean to get maudlin all of a sudden but I've always thought that I would like my words to be my legacy. This little girl touched so many just in writing Harry Potter fanfiction. I can't help but wonder what she might have written if she had more time.

Everyone leaves a bit of themselves in the lives of the people they touch. I'd like to leave more in the words that I pen. And now that I've said that, I'm off to write.
