I have told everyone who will listen ... and now I tell you ... that I'm getting a laptop with my rebate check from the government. It will have a broadband card and I will be able to use it everywhere. At least, that is the hope. No more being tethered to this old monstrosity that can barely function. No more staring at Millan and wishing, wishing, wishing there was a way to get it on the internet without having to take out a loan to get all the cables and wiring and equipment that I would need. No more staring longingly at the Internet Explorer button on the computer at work that I can't press anymore because the TWIT keeps telling on us.

And now that my mother is back, I will be on my way soon to the big city (Twin Falls, population 15,000 - don't laugh) to see if what I can get. I don't have said rebate check in front of me right now but maybe if I can get some sort of financing. *happy sigh*


OH! Rent The History Boys if you haven't already. Watch the movie and then watch the special features and then watch the director/writer commentary. Bask in the glow that is a terrific movie and sob with me that the play isn't still on Broadway. And if you've already seen it, laugh at me for being SO far behind in the times!
