In the United Kingdom, the libraries are more like research venues - from what my little research has shown me. They've recently opened them up to more of the general public but you can't wander the stacks like you can at the Carnegie libraries in the States.

So where does the greater British public "rent" books? Normal, everyday books? Do they have to buy them new/used? I know they read...

Anyway, if you know the answer and can especially send me somewhere that has pictures, I would appreciate it.

This is how my day went... aren't you glad you know?

This was a fun day... check it out! )
