Did you know there is actually a podcast called Accio Potter Wizarding Rock? There is. Look it up on iTunes. They play, on average, about 14 wizarding rock hits each podcast. Did you know there was enough "wizarding rock" out there to be able to play 14 different songs in a podcast that is done... once a week? I think that's how often they put them on. Sometimes, on Saturdays, they have a full two hours live. Yes, I listened to that once, too.

Some songs are... well, horrible. I shouldn't shatter people's dreams like that but they are. Very basement-with-my-friend-Stacy's-new-synthesizer sort of things.

Some are AWESOME! They sound professional and they're interesting and kinda fun!

For instance, I just finished listening to Episode 12. Some of it very good. Here are the parts I liked...

At 19:39 - Marietta by Alas Earwax (I looked this one up to make sure that was what I heard and I found their MySpace page which has tidbits of the songs)

At 24:57 - First Kiss by House of Black

At 1:03:45 - In Your Shadow by Oliver Boyd & the Remembralls (which you can download at their website - also check out the video for End of an Era over at YouTube)

But I save the best for last although it wasn't part of this Episode... but I found a vid for it so I thought I would share...

Snape vs. Snape by Ministry of Magic (probably the best of the best) - Try NOT to dance around in your seat while crying your eyes out.

*sigh*

It's so very corny to know so much about Wizarding Rock but what can I say? I saw it first on Facebook and we all know that Facebook can do no wrong!

....

And as of 5 minutes ago, I now own all of the Ministry of Magic CDs.
