In which I remind myself to breath deeply
Oct. 2nd, 2009 01:12 pmA free Saturday without obligations except to finish my laundry and get some more boxes into my closet so I can see my carpet. Right now the walkway through my bedroom is fine but I really need to get everything situated so that I can DEAL BETTER. You see, I need my space to be organized if my life is out of organization. Both are out of wack right now and I'm starting to feel the effects. Must get one organized soon or I will crack. Man, I wish I was a better person at getting things organized. Really need to downsize more things. Or organize the closet so I can get more stuff in there. *sigh*
Things I absolutely need to work on this weekend:
*Hermione/Snape drabble for
sortinghatdrabs
*at least one more story for
story_lottery
*find an ending for
the_browncoats Marriage story
*another drabble for
first_order - Marlene/Caradoc? Tonks/Charlie? Gideon/Tambre? perhaps something new?
*several of the gift-giving drabbles that I've put off for
whedonland. Nothing has piqued my interest which means that the Muse is tired. She's worked hard lately!
*finish up the Percy/Tonks story for Aster's birthday.
*start on the Ginny/Draco story for SaraJo's birthday.
*flesh out more on the prompts that
cranky__crocus gave me
*flesh out the idea for the prompt table community that I started yesterday. Yes, I think this one is a winner! All about instant gratification yet still looks to the long-term. Something for everyone! And come up with a name... oh, my kingdom for a good title.
*1000 words a day NO MATTER WHAT on LCAB (Lady Cyril Ann Bray) story. Isn't that a perfectly lovely name? I thought so. *grins*
*drabble each for werewolves and vampires 100 each (I can't be bothered to look up the names and I can never get the right the first time)
*finish my lunch that has gotten cold
*make meatloaf for dinner. And lunch tomorrow. And possibly dinner tomorrow, too. Remember that veggies are a good thing.
*go back to work for the rest of the day and try not to give in to the frustration that has been eating me all week and to find a cheerful attitude about the things in my life that I can't fix and to concentrate on the things that I can and to JUST DEAL.
