I missed last week's Community so watched it on Hulu today. Have you seen it? It was so funny I don't think I stopped laughing! A paint ball war done in the style of a gangster movie. And the Glee club luring people in with their songs. *wipes away tears of joy*

And then I saw this:

Joel McHale at a live show in Chicago (Chicago?) where he invites Danny Pudi and Donald Glover up on stage to do "La Biblioteca" and a very special number for all the mothers. *wipes away even more tears of joy*

I bring you a potato recipe. It's so good that I've made it THREE TIMES.

Put 2 cans (or one of those large cardboard containers) of chicken STOCK into a large pot. It's important to go with the stock instead of just chicken broth. Add one diced onion (I kept this out because I don't like onions and just substituted onion powder), 2 cans of corn (I used one can of regular corn and one can of creamed corn for some different texture) and 2 cups diced potatoes (I left the skins on). Heat this until the potatoes are tender.

Add 1/3 cup butter and 2 cans of evaporated milk (you can use 2% instead of the fully fatted evaporated milk if you'd like. I did the last time and it didn't change the taste much.) Heat for 15 more minutes. Serve immediately.

If you happen to have some potato crisps handy (Thinly slice your potatoes, coat with oil and put on a baking sheet. Heat in oven at 350 degrees until brown. Shake on some salt and VOILA!) then feel free to crumble some of them each cup of soup.

There's another potato soup recipe I'm going to try this week. This one has carrots in it! THIS is where I got the recipe if you want to try it along with me.

IF you have a potato recipe, I'll take it! I've still got FORTY more potatoes (very large potatoes, too) to use. Today I went to the store and got groceries but only SOME of them will go well with potatoes. I've decided this week will be partially potato free. Also, I'm going to take my lunch to work this week. I bought pudding cups and everything! *g*
