We're getting to that part of the year...
Apr. 25th, 2011 09:24 pmCastle is old tonight so I switched over to H5O. It's a show I plan on getting into (even though I couldn't get into the show while watching the first ep but I just don't watch that ep until after I watch a bunch more of the show) but I kinda have to if I'm going to understand half my flist these days. *grins* This does mean that we're getting ever closer to spring/summer shows!!!
A little growling and groaning during SGU tonight. Oh, Eli. How I love you.
I was recced somewhere new yesterday/today. In one day, I've gotten FIFTY SIX reads. Part of it is because I also posted the story to the challenge area but I don't think I've ever gotten that many hits off a challenge that quickly. Needless to say, I joined that new community and will be excited to read the other stories there. But still I was recced! *squee* Man, I love this fandom.
Just looked at my larger story on AO3 that I finished and posted yesterday. 66 hits and 1 kudo! In 24 hours!
At the stargate land comm, we're doing a team challenge where we have to rec different things. I think, just from our discussion post, I'm going to have things to read for a very long time! Good thing that new OS is coming soon so that I can download Calibre to this computer so I can get some of these non-AO3 stories there quicker. Oh, how my lazy self wishes that every large fic writer used AO3.
Randomly, I got a lot of sleep last night and it was a good thing because we were sooooo busy today. Monday (busy) after a holiday (busy) at the end of the month (busy). Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that I would have been crying in a corner if I'd kept going the way I was going the last few days. I was running on empty!
Okay, now am I going to read (which watching TV... it's a gift) or retype the story I wrote while at work (those last fifty minutes are always slow no matter how busy the rest of the day is so I get some writing down then). Or eat sorbet. Or maybe two of those together.
I like Mary. I don't much about her but I like her.
