So much to talk about. Let's see if I get it all said.

Today I went to Favi's JV softball game. It was against the high school's big rival. We've been rivals since my dad was in school... at least! So I was at a game on Saturday and it was nice and civilized. They were nice to us and we were nice to them. Not the visiting spectators from this school! They were RUDE. I missed a good portion of the game and the first game altogether but this was RIDICULOUS. It makes me uncomfortable these days. I'm not quite the UberFan I was back in the day. But I finally got to see Favi pitch! For a sophomore, she was superb. Two more years of playing for a pretty decent team (although they're losing a lot of girls this graduation) and she should be able to get a pretty decent scholarship. My goal for the next two years: Get this girl ready for getting out of the valley once she turns 18!

Today was day two of me being thoroughly irritated with my boss. She's the sort that can tell, too. Uh, oh! But it's becoming painfully clear that I'm never going to be okay. There's ALWAYS SOMETHING that I'm not doing right. All I can say is that at least it's only one thing a day. It just sort of makes me less willing to TRY. I just miss Randye. She and her family are on vacation in New York this week. I'm trying very hard to keep a smile on my face until she comes back. I have Beth and Brad but Beth is still feeling her way and Brad is on his way out so neither one of them is much help. Oh well. This isn't forever. I've agreed to wait awhile before I do anything about my bookstore because they can't have only one tech and one pharmacist. Since I can't very well walk away from this job just yet, I have agreed. I need to save money, anyway.

Got some leftover ham this post-Easter season? Have little bits left that you're not going to put in a soup? I took some ham "bits" (about quarter size) and chopped up some red pepper and sauted them in some butter. Cut a kaiser bun, toasted it in the pan. As that is toasting, put some shredded cheese on the ham/peppers. Slide onto the bread. Pepper that bit. Voila! It was beautiful! I'm almost tempted to call that a Lar Sandwich!

I can't wait for my [livejournal.com profile] rononficathon!!!! I love all the prompts that people have given and there's only one that I can't write but I can write the two others the person put down so I'm really good to go!

Jamie Oliver just called the bottom part of the bread he's baking the arse. Really? *grins* That's awesome!

I've been looking through some of my older original stories and I think I have an idea for something a little longer from what I read from a couple of them. My goal, right now, is a novella. I can do a novella! I do it all the time! An original novella by the end of summer. No, two. Two original novellas by the end of summer.

Of course, that would require me writing. Still haven't done too much of that lately. At least not when I'm not being pushed. *sigh*

I wasn't getting the Cooking Channel and then I was and then I wasn't again... and now I am again! Go figure. They're giving me a headache!

I still haven't seen the last two weeks of Glee (shame!) or the Game of Thrones 1&2 that I have on my computer (shame!) OR the new Doctor Who (SHAME!) - what have I been watching? Well, I did finally watch my Netflix movies so I could send them back!
