(no subject)

I feel as if I am the only person NOT going somewhere else this weekend. Since my sisters are coming here for the weekend, I could always drive over and stay at their house for the weekend. But that puts me even more away from the internet than I would be at my Mom & Dad's. Times like this, my life feels very, very small. *sigh*

I'm going to Maryland in the fall but I haven't gotten anything planned for summer. Most of that is the fault of my schedule at work but things like that could be worked around if I wanted to go somewhere bad enough.

Also, this was heard at my place of business today:

Tech (putting the phone on hold): Okay, the invertebrate who works for so-and-so is on line 4 and... *waits for laughter to cease*

Okay, that Tech was me. Golly, this week has been hard. It didn't help that I didn't sleep well on Tuesday night (something which is becoming a habit of mine) but it seriously has been one of those weeks where even I can't keep up enough positive energy to get through without wearing down my teeth from grinding them together to keep from retaliating at the people who have been HORRIBLE. Truly, truly horrible. There is NO JUSTIFICATION for this sort of behavior. I don't care where you're going on vacation, you @#$)IS:OIJPOASIJFPSIOJ scum. I CANNOT CALL THE DOCTOR AND GET YOU A REFILL ON YOUR NON-MAINTENANCE MEDICATION IF THE DOCTOR IS NOT THERE SO SHUT THE HELL UP AND GET A CLUE.

We dealt with it by eating chocolate and trying to come up with other things to talk/laugh about that weren't job related. I do have to say thank you to all of you who have lives and post about them because it gives me something to talk about at work on days like this when our lives suck. Hope you don't mind that I tell my coworkers about you. *grins*

Okay, I'm off to finish start this story that's due next week.
