I'm the funny girl

Life is odd. Writing is odder.

I spent ten minutes on a couple of hundred words that I've gotten a ton of comments on. I barely even reread it and never thought to share it except at the place where it was written for.

Then there's the couple of thousand words that I sweated blood over. I reread it six times and actually did a real edit of it before sending it to a beta and then a couple of women from work to see how they might like it. I'm so proud of the story that I want to print it out and put it in a binder of some sort. No one has commented on it.

It's just strange. I'm growing as a person in that it's not bothering me at all. I just find it odd, that's all. I guess funny wins every time.
