The Book Video Extraordinaire

My dad doesn't want to move the books that I amassed for the bookstore idea. While there aren't enough to fully start a bookstore, there are more than any one person needs. I've been trying to sort of do a "word of mouth" book sale... mostly because I don't have time to do it right and because the house is wrecked from all the packing I'm doing... but it's not working very well.

Which means that I'm going to go through said books and take out a hundred or so that I think I can sell on Amazon/paperbackswap and take the rest to one of the Goodwill-type organizations we have in the area. I don't itemize my taxes so I'll give the deduction to my sister. Hopefully I can get my money back through the resell because I'm not going to make any otherwise.

It's all dreadfully depressing. At this point, I think that is what's bothering me the most. I don't like giving up books!!!!! Everything else is all just life. It's what happens. But books are supposed to be forever and I'd still been holding out hope that the bookstore idea would eventually work out.

Also, I've only moved boxes from one room to the next and my elbows are already killing me! This does not bode well for the ACTUAL move! Eek! Need more Advil - STAT!
