It's Sunday... which means it's time to watch both The Nerdist Channel and Geek & Sundry on YouTube. The very first commercial... OH MY GOD.
Have you seen the previews for Revolutions, coming to NBC this Fall?
This article has the preview in it so I don't feel I need to find it on YouTube. Check it out!
The preview makes me think of The Change novels by S. M. Stirling, some of my favorite novels. I've only read the first two (which puts me vastly behind in the series) but the idea is very much like this. All electricity disappears and the country is reduced to the pre-technology. The reason I even picked up the first book was because it's set up in my area of the country.
Anyway - check out the books and check out the show.
I'm thinking that I may turn the screen of my computer so that I can see it from my papasan. All the stress of the move (and thank you for your good thoughts in that direction because it turned out good and I didn't cry even though I wanted to from all the stress of the conversation with the guy who was making everything work so hooray!) seems to have allowed germs to take hold. I started to feel bad last night but couldn't sleep. This afternoon, I cut short being at the picnic to come home and sleep for a few hours. Still feel very out of it. Eating red hots because it makes my throat feel better.
So I'm going to get off the computer soon... have to make an Amazon purchase. Well, don't HAVE to. WANT to. My Sunday is complete once again.
