Guess what game I bought this morning, only about an hour after I woke up?

Guess what game we played after church and it was deemed a success? That would be Tsuro! It was played by me (late 30s), Lindsey (early 30s), G (6), and B (4.5). B had some trouble with where to take her dragon but G seemed to catch on pretty quickly. Lindsey mentioned that it was a lot of fun and she wants to play again! Hooray!

I also have a recipe to share with you. It was going to be a Hey, have you ever heard of these recipes snarky post but then I found a COMPLETELY wonderful recipe that I made right away.

This recipe comes from Women's Day Encyclopedia of Cookery Volume 10 (published in 1966).

CRANBERRY NUT BREAD
recipe
(I'm going to be lazy so if you can't see the recipe in this picture, let me know and I'll put it in the comments)

We don't do a lot of nut things in our household as some of the Littles have nut allergies so I didn't put any nuts in this. I DID put some nutmeg and ginger in it and would actually do a couple more hits of both so maybe 1/2 tsp of each. Up your orange if you can. It makes it very, very delicious if you do.

I doubled the recipe and put some in cupcake holders and then half in the loaf pan.

And because I never show you the chaos... here is the sink before I did the dishes.

Okay, that was a lie. I started the dishes but Mom finished them because I got sort of caught up in TopHatter (Etsy with live auctions) but I STARTED and that's all that matters. Right?
