Today I'm multi-tasking like a MoFo!
I've got Iron Man 2 in the mini DVD player and I'm working on Delicious archiving for
avengerkink, the Big Bang story for
avengerland (see more info below), a Clint/Natasha story (the one that I get to call New Mexico State of Mind), icons for the fun icon-making game at
sgc_social and reading through my friends page. Fun times are being had!
Recently, I finished Blood Oath by Christopher Farnsworth - a spectacular piece of vampire fiction! Here's the low-down: Zach Barrows is a cocky, ambitious White House employee until he's abruptly transferred out and partnered with Nathaniel Cade, a secret agent sworn to protect the president. But Cade is no ordinary civil servant. Bound 140 years ago by a special blood oath, Nathanial Cade is a vampire. On the orders of the president he defends the nation against enemies far stranger-and even more dangerous-than civilians like Zach could ever imagine. The vampire isn't sexy, sparkly or nice.
For the
avengersland Big Bang (10k = 500 points), I decided to combine three prompts that I found at
avengerkink - Bruce gets malaria, Tony and Darcy are siblings, Bruce gets kidnapped and Tony saves him. By combining all three of those, I feel as if I'm going to have a really decent plot to work with. Aster's been on vacation (she's back as of two days ago but hasn't quite got back to reality as of yet) so I haven't discussed it with her but I did talk it over with Randye on Saturday (one of the decent parts of my day was getting to talk about Avengers stuff) and she thought it sounded interesting.
Anyway, that's my day so far. I also need to go get another load of laundry started... oh, so much fun!
