attracted like a magnet

I am back home. To celebrate, I put a load of clothes in the washer and made not one but TWO peach/plum desserts! The first was a little dry and it had halved fruit which is pretty but not easy to eat. It was one of those bready cakes that is nice but needs clotted cream or something like that. The second is still cooling so I haven't eaten it yet but it's more of a cakey bread and I diced up the plums and peaches and put extra EXTRA of each so it's all about the fruit!

I've decided that I've done something to my glasses. That's the only reason for these headaches, some of them verging on migraines. Gah! Good thing I bought the super big bottle of Advil. Is there any of it within arms length away right now? No.

I'm reading Kiss of Steel by Bec McMaster. It's one of those books that the cover art has NOTHING to do with what is inside but it's pretty and I'm loving the world that the author has created so I'm not complaining. No, not at all!
