So... Thursday. My boss and I had a difference of opinion. She decided to get angry and directed it at me (even though she later told me that she meant "all of us" but she was staring at me, pointing and me, and saying things like "I've had it up to here with your attitude") and I decided I was over with just nodding. Talking back only made her more irritated, at which point I saw gray. Got my heart rate down, texted my mom, went to lunch, called my mom... had the first panic attack of my life.

I went and talked to my boss after work, thinking I would give my two weeks but we talked (yelled, as well) and things aren't great but I'm not going to give in my two weeks until after Christmas (when I will hopefully have something else lined up). We'll see if this doesn't light a fire on my butt to get my resume out there. I really hope that my discussions with the boss have helped out my coworkers a little. There does need to be a much better line of communication but my pharmacist boss is not very good at the management side of things. Maybe this will help. One can hope.

It did inspire some serious loyalty issues with my coworkers. Beth decided that she was pissed at the boss on my behalf and had to do some shopping therapy to make herself feel better. This means that I got a new scarf out of it!

And on Saturday, I lost 3000 words when I attempted to use the offline aspect of Google Drive. What they don't tell you is that when they say it will sync next time your computer hooks up to the internet, what they really mean is it could take up to 5 days. I lost words out of two documents and one set of words showed up this morning. I got rid of Google Drive offline tonight and it informed me that I shouldn't because there was still things that hadn't synced. I wanted to say, "YA THINK?" but then I realized that yelling at my computer was never going to solve anything.

I can't get rid of Google Docs completely but I won't be composing in there. When I win NaNo, I'll be buying Scrivener but I can't compose in that right now, either. I need to take a few days (which I don't have in NaNo) and get to know it better. For now, I'm using Yarny (may buy it after I win NaNo, too) and I'm liking it. I can share with Aster but she can't edit, the real reason for the internet. I contacted Yarny and FOUR HOURS LATER, they got back with me! Collaborating is something they're working on. If that get that up and running, it may be my new go-to!

I'm rewriting the chapter I lost and it is, of course, better than it was. OF COURSE. Isn't that always how it works? The words are still concerned with being put on a page, in case they get lost again, so I'm not writing quickly. Funny, because on Saturday I was writing like a bandit!

I'm watching Chalet Girl, a movie which showcases Ed Westwick's real accent. Pretty movie. Pretty boy. Pretty accent! It's got a lostprophets song that is nice, too. I don't do anything that is at all winter sports related but I really, really want a snowboarding coat. Plaids and tartans RULE!

So that is my life lately. Thank you for everyone for the comments on my last post. It helped to know that I have friends who put up with my panic attack induced posting! You guys rock and I don't tell you often enough!
