The books, the books are calling

I only just started reading the Termeraire series the other day, holding off because I was having trouble getting my hands on the second in the series. Man, oh man! This book is great. I must not be alone in thinking this because I went to AO3 to see if there was any fanfic and WOAH BOY is there fanfic! Every possible fusion in the world, I do believe.
I've decided to give up trying to get the second in the series in bound version and will probably just get the ebook instead. It's not one that I think any of my friends will read will so it's not like I'll need to share. That's normally my reasoning for getting a bound book versus a digital version. As good as this book is, I don't know if I can get my friends to read them. History, you see. They don't like history. It's sad.
