ARE you doing NaNo this year?

I want to add you to my buddy list if you are! It's amazing how motivated I get to stay in front of my friends (and I ALWAYS fall behind about half around Day 10) and love to have a Buddy List full of people who are actually participating!

This is me if you want to add me first. If I see it, I will always add back right away. Sometimes I don't spot it but I'm always checking the lists!

I got about 4,000 words into one story before another one took over my brain. I have about 2,000-2,500 on that but need to seriously start to focus on that.

I've been slacking majorly and reading not writing. I JUST finished the fanfic I've been reading for the last week though (It's like 200,000 words and not finished lol) and I've told myself NO MORE EPIC LONG FICS like that until I get some writing done. :D

I was surprised to realise this is my sixth year - I forgot that I started in '05, not '06! I keep thinking, 'Well, you know, 6 years doing something isn't TOO long...' and then I realise it's a bit of an achievement given I'm 20.

So I'm celebrating a little! And I'll be buying Halloween candy to get through my first night of writing. :D

I still have you on my buddy list from last year! And 6 years doing one thing over and over again IS a long time plus a great achievement! Think of all those words you've written... in the hundreds of thousands! Soon it could be a MILLION!

This year I'm writing with York Peppermint Patties (shaped like pumpkins with orange insides!) and Smarties, as well as some good for you snacks, too. I always write better with candy, though!
