Since I haven't seen any of the Doctors earlier than Nine, I don't really understand the Master and his purpose. He is the anti-Doctor so I don't like him. *grins* There isn't much more to that one than that. That and the ANNOYING tapping!
I am a DIE-HARD Tonks/Charlie shipper and have been since I first read her parts. In those early books, I even liked Lupin. BUT THEN... we don't talk about those later scenes. It ripped apart my VERY EXISTENCE. It really did. I wasn't just a light Tonks shipper. She was MY CHARACTER! She was who I played and who I wrote about and she was my everything. AND she deserved Charlie (and Charlie deserved a much better part of the story than what he got). Or Kingsley. One of those two. But Lupin? And then to have him TREAT HER in such a manner? And she still killed herself for him (cause that's what it was)? Yeah... still bitter.
In that moment, I stopped shipping him with Sirius. I stopped like him as a character. I stopped liking David Thewlis as an actor. I just stopped.
JKR blatantly used Tonks to get to a storyline that she needed to get to there in the end and I will never ever ever forgive her for that.
And that is the story of why I don't like Remus Lupin.
