Author's Note: I don't write many Malfoys but felt compelled to try to write a completely different ship then I ever see. I took liberties with the dear Professor's name, going with an Italian feel per the information at the Lexicon.
Narcissa felt the tears leak from her eyes but she found herself unwilling to wipe them away. “I don’t know what to do, Lottie” she sobbed, throwing herself forward to sob on the desk. “He used to be such a good boy.”
“Narcissa, dear, he’s just misguided. I told you that man would be a horrid father.” Professor Sinistra hurried to pat her dearest friend on the back, helpless to calm the tearful torrent. “Now that he’s gone-“
“That doesn’t change anything,” Narcissa interrupted. “I’m still married.”
“And I still don’t care. I told you I’d be here for you.”
