As I contemplated what I could do for these prompts, I decided I would have to do an original. It just makes sense, after all.

Bring on the Noise! Bring on the Prompts!

Ohhh I love this prompt list! I'm so adding this to my memories. :)

I had a friend make it up for me. The last thing I need is another community to write for but I wanted something different to write for. I get so tired of the same 100 prompt table over and over and over again. I've found I'm a bit of a prompt whore. It's hard for me to write without one. Shame on me for becoming addicted to them!

I agree! Often times I'll love the prompt list but not want to join the community. I remember I did take the "damn 64" one and I have it up in my writing journal but I don't think I got beyond two. I had the list of ideas I had somewhere but never got through it. Someday I will get through all my projects! I think I would make a good prompt whore. It's funny how having one word can make a story so much easier for me to write, instead of sitting in front of a blank document for ages.

I think I made one up for myself at one point and then realised that didn't work as well, so I planned to hide it and use it later once I had forgotten (knowing I would, because my memory is poopie) but now I don't know where it is. I forgot that that was a downfall of a bad memory, but of course I would forget such a thing! Ah well!

Yeah, prompt tables I make for myself NEVER work well, either. I have a couple that I've started that I doubt I'll ever go back to.

But you know what else drives me? I only seem to work on those stories and prompts that someone is CONSTANTLY asking me about. Or that I feel I need to finish because someone is counting on me to finish. Which should be all of them but there are always some that I drop. Or never start. *grins*

If you ever need a good prompt table, you can always check out the "graph" tag over at the side of my LJ page. There are plenty there! And if you find a good one, let me know!

I agree--that tends to drive me too. If I'm writing a fic that I know people will want to read, I tend to crank it out. At that point it becomes like school work (in a good way--in the way that I want to get it done). More than half the reason I stick to doing homework is because I hate disappointing professors. Due dates by people I love and respect (most of the times my readers) make me keep at things.

I'll have to check out your graph tag some time! Thanks for the pointer!
