You know how when you're tired, everything gets a little out of proportion and you find yourself having to bite your tongue more often than not and soon it's just a chore to smile without showing your teeth, as if you're a dog ready to go for the throat at the first sign of weakness? That was my day, today. This is my evening.

I need to get some odds and ends packed because tomorrow is the day that Dad's picking up my stuff. I don't have a big enough car to take too much stuff myself. I've come to the part of packing where I'm trying to get all the odd shaped things into the fewest amount of boxes possible. It's like a math problem for the real world! THIS is the reason they make children take math every year of their schooling career! It's so we can move more easily!

Have you seen this? It was on my Facebook feed tonight and it made me "oooh" cause it was so cute!

Aww ... that is adorable. And good luck packing. Nothing every fits perfectly. The old square peg round hole conundrum. Here's to better days!

Thankfully I remembered to leave out stuff that could be stuffed around the odd shapes! *grins* But that is the reason that my boxes make no sense. Oh well.

Better days are bound to be just around the corner. *wanders off singing the theme from Annie*

LOL...I think Tetris might be more useful than math for fitting odd-shaped things in a box!

Oh, packing. It's just so not fun.

As much as I love Tetris (AND I LOVE TETRIS), we wouldn't have Tetris without geometry! *grins* But that make all those nights in college when I played Tetris instead of studying (I had the game on my word processor) all worth it! I was getting ready for this time in my life!!!! Ah, good time.

Well, yes, but for the average person, I think the applied geometry of Tetris is more useful for packing than the more theoretical side of things. Plus it justifies video game time!
