I sort of got sucked into looking through
avengerkink today.
Here are the prompts that I really like and may try to write for:
Darcy and Tony as siblings: (page 3)
I've seen a number of stories and prompts where Darcy is Tony's daughter or adoptive daughter. What I'd really love to see is a story where she's Howard's daughter -- one of the last things he did before he died was knock up her mother during one of his casual affairs. We know Tony was 17 in 1991, and his parents died not long after, so that would put her around 21, which would be just about right. Or it could have happened a few years before, and for whatever reason Maria/Tony (or even Howard) were unaware -- maybe Darcy's mom decided they'd be better off on their own.
Whether or not the others know is up to the author, but anon is a sucker for dramatic reveals (or what should be dramatic reveals that fall flat because everyone already knows).
Mostly, anon is sad that Pepper is Tony's only person (as of IM1), because while she's awesome, that's not a very balanced set of interpersonal relationships (other friendships also welcome). I'd love to see Tony and Darcy being snark together.
Bonus points for:
+ Darcy is really well adjusted about the entire thing -- her mom was awesome, and she's pretty sure she dodged a bullet.
++ Even though Tony's older than her, Darcy can't help but feel a little protective of him: once she gets to know him better, he is emotionally her little brother.
+++ For whatever reason, Darcy figures out that Tony is no good at hugs -- he doesn't know how to respond to or give real ones, and she decides to teach him.
++++++++ Steve is talking about Howard, and Darcy makes him shut up.
Steve, Coulsen - waiting for Capt to unthaw: (mild Coulson/Clint)
It wasn't as easy as just thawing Steve out and waiting for him to wake up. The plane crash was forceful enough that he actually had some pretty severely broken bones, and they healed without being properly set. So, when Steve is brought back to SHIELD the medics have to find a way to re-break and then set the bones, while also devising a sedative that will keep him out until he's all patched up.
I would love to see Coulson there, watching in horror as his idol is taken apart. Bonus points if Steve actually wakes up at some point and Coulson manages to calm him down until the next round of sedation kicks in. Double bonus for some mention of Clint/Coulson, but it's definitely not required.
Clint - h/c, forced to kneel: (can be Clint/Natasha)
Feed my whump!loving soul, please!
I want to see someone, Baddie Of The Week, Loki, some villain, getting their hands on Clint and forcing him to his knees. If it takes a lot of "persuasion" to get him to drop, all the better. (If it's Loki doing the forcing, I'd like Clint to be at least partially aware through his entrallment of what he's being forced to do, and hating it.)
Gen or Clint/Natasha, optional background pairings of other Avengers is up to author.
Clint/Natasha - hearing loss, hearing aids:
In the comics, IIRC, Clint has significant hearing loss, and so wears hearing aids, and this is now headcanon for movie, too (there are inner-canal ones he could wear while on-duty that really can't be seen unless you are looking directly into ear). Of course, that's on-duty; off-duty the aids might be different (more visible, not really combat-ready but more comfortable), and there are times he doesn't wear them at all - including sex with Natasha when they are one of their places and all relaxed.
What I'd love is fic exploring the differences in sensory input during sex depending on the different circumstances, with hearing aids or not (difference between a lazy afternoon and the kind of 'stumble through the door, clothes off NOW' sex). NOT to say one is better than the other, just that things can be different (and other things the same).
Incidently, this right here is a HUGE KINK of mine. I don't know why. Don't make me examine it too closely. Snuggling and hearing loss. Who knew.
And speaking of cuddling... Bruce/anyone - h/c:
So, Bruce probably spent some time in the parts of Brazil that have lots of endemic malaria. And it sometimes takes a very long time for p. vivax, in particular, the most common malarial strain in Brazil, to show up (like, maybe the amount of time it takes for Bruce and all the other Avengers to settle into Tony's tower?) Aaaand I'm sure Bruce would suffer beautifully and since p. vivax is not the really really deadly one, surely the hulk won't come out and save him, since he's not in mortal danger, right? He'll just get taken care of very carefully by his fellow avengers until he's better?
(Something else that might be fun to use: the type of malaria there is not necessarily responsive to chloroquine...)
Bruce/Tony - torture, h/c:
Bruce is working late in the lab one night when he gets a call- from General Ross. The General says he has bombs planted underneath Stark Tower, and that he'll set them off if Bruce doesn't get in the car and come with him willingly. Of course, Bruce does.
When Bruce disappears, Tony and the others go back through the security tapes, see him receiving a phone call, and then immediately leaving the tower and getting into a strange car- and they know something's up.
While they're figuring it out and finding the explosives and finding where Bruce has been taken, Bruce is being subjected to experiments and various tortures that the General has waited years to put him through.
Eventually they save him, and Tony's the only one Bruce will speak with, or even let touch him for a while after he's rescued (it's only under Tony's insistence and watchful eye that he lets any doctors patch him up)- he's shell-shocked. They'd been flirting all along, but this solidifies their relationship beyond a doubt, because Tony knows Bruce pretty much gave up his life to save him- and Bruce knows Tony did the same by coming to rescue him.
+ 1000 Bonus points if they think Bruce is dead at first when they find him, and he's close, but still hanging in there.
Natasha being sick:
Poor Tasha has terrible food poisoning, laid out on the couch in her jammies. Everyone else offers home remedies for upset tummies. DONE
And last (but probably not least but I've really got to stop reading through this list because I'm only on page 10 and there are twenty bazillion more pages) everyone all paired up - finds a baby and chaos ensues:
Non superhero AU where they all live in the same apartment building/house and someone leaves a baby in their front door leading to shenanigans and legal issues.
So they all live in the same house/apartment building and are in relationships/going to get into relationships/friends when one day they find a baby in the front door of Tony's apartment. Because Tony is a ladies man (and sometimes men's man) everyone assumes that it's his baby.
Cue the group trying to figure out how to handle the new addition and make sure they're not arrested for kidnapping or something. Shenanigans and legal stuff happens and Tony gets custody of the baby and everyone is a big happy, very unusual family.
THEN! Out of nowhere the mother and/or father comes out of the woodwork and tells them that the baby isn't theirs and they want the baby back. Proof is given that Tony isn't the father, but the mother is there and claiming her baby was taken from her and she demands her child back, accusations are thrown around about Tony and his ability to care for the child, his former/current relationships/his neightbours taking care of the baby/his lack of time due to his job etc. There's a real threat of the baby being taken from them
What happens next is up to author. Happy ending would be much loved but angst within would be totally awesome.
(let's see - the pairings are Steve/Tony, Clint/Coulson, Bruce/Pepper, Darcy/Natasha, Loki/Thor)
