Today was a day at work. I don't think I sat down at all. At the very end of my lunch, I checked Facebook (something I rarely do these days... so that I don't start playing games again and waste even MORE of my precious Not-Working time) and saw that my sister and BIL had gotten tickets to the Boise State game tomorrow and needed a babysitter. My sister that lives near them was already at my parents house so she couldn't do it and she is their normal babysitter. Instead of moving on past the issue that didn't appear to concern me, I called my sister to see if anyone else had volunteered yet. No one had. So I did.
There was no way I could get off work until the normal 5:30pm time which means I got home about 6:15pm. I ran around the house, getting my clothes and netbook (hooray for a new netbook!) and all the plugs I would need. I was on the road again at 6:30pm and drove like a banshee. Still got here about 9pm. Nic was still up and we played the Old MacDonald app on sister's phone. He especially loves the "diggers" (dump trucks) and the little girl that says, "Oh, kitty." Then we spent several minutes arguing over who was going to finish the puzzle on the Miss Spider app. Man, I love when Nic lets me play with him. I can only really ensure that by coming over here alone. WHY AM I NOT MOVED OVER HERE YET? Must really start looking for a job over here. I would adore being in my own apartment again but I would adore even more getting to see the boys all the time!
So, was totally going to write this weekend and still might get to but will be babysitting for some of that time and then the whole driving home in the afternoon. Will have to type extra fast on Sunday to make up for this trip.
Tif is moving along on the additional Avengers characters. In her words, "There is a lot of purple in this bunch." But Jane has on a plaid shirt. Seriously, how great is that? I must start working on a script for these adventures I'm going to send them on. Anyone have any good ideas?
Okay, I'm off to try to get something written. And I should think about getting to bed soon as mornings start pretty early around here!
