Have you ever heard of Fireman Sam (a cartoon character who is, as the name suggests, a fireman) or have you ever seen his magazine sold in a shop near you? If so, would you be interested in helping out a grateful Auntie? We can find his toys but not the magazine.

Heee! Well, I am now the proud owner of one issue of the Fireman Sam magazine, complete with cheap useless binoculars on the front, LOL! I also got you a Fireman Sam birthday card so you can use it sometime :) Just let me know where to send them! Mail me at fifi @ fififolle.co.uk and I'll get back to you from my gmail. Your biggest local post office probably does Poste Restante if you dont' want to give me your address *g* Always handy. And don't worry about costs, consider it fandom love :D

You wrote Handy Manny? Awesome! I don't know him, but, LOVE <3. There's a few fics at the pit - http://www.fanfiction.net/cartoon/Fireman-Sam/ Goodness knows if they are any good. I once wrote some rather poignant Sam/Penny UST that ended up being Penny/Elvis (poor Sam!) but I don't think I ever posted it anywhere, it's languishing in a notebook somewhere. I was rather fond of it, I must find it and type it up! Especially if there is someone crazy enough that might read it... :p I have also written 2 drabbles, where I kind of, um, slashed Sam with Captain Ryan from Primeval. They are so fluffy they don't deserve a rating, but they are locked down as 18 anyway *g* Though really, in my heart, I ship Sam and Tom the helicopter pilot now. Ahem. And those whole sad universes are best kept in my head :p

I haven't yet gone looking for images to make an icon. The question still needs to be asked: which do I like better, the claymation or the CGI? I simply don't know.

Now *there's* a question!! I rather prefer the appearance of the claymation myself, but then the new series has Tom the helicopter pilot, so. *torn*
