Okay, Once Upon A Time folks, I have a question.

The curse... Henry got older every year. It appears that Grace did not. Have they explained that and I missed it? Wouldn't people have noticed that she never got older?

This wad in my head today when I woke up. Not sure if that is a good sign or bad.

I think part of the curse was probably them not noticing things like that. I think the reason Henry wouldn't have noticed is that he was never part of the curse - which is why he was able to age. But it also meant he was too young to notice anything weird about the aging/not-aging that was going on. It wasn't until Mary Margaret gave him the book that he started piecing together what was going on.

My biggest question is how Regina and Gold found Henry if they couldn't leave. Were they exempt from that part of the curse?

I read an interview today with the show runners that said if Regina left Storybrooke, the curse/memory loss wouldn't affect her in the same way. Maybe Gold's outside contacts "found" Henry and Regina left to acquire him?

I can see that since both Gold and Regina were outside-ish of the curse. I'm looking forward to learning about those outside contacts, too!

I just started to watch Once Upon a time yesterday and am soooo hooked. I was so disappointed that they killed Graham, but I finished Red-Handed just like five minutes ago and am soooo happy that they gave us another wolf! And now I open lj and see your awesome icon. This makes me smile like a lunatic.

So no, I wouldn't say it's a bad sign that you woke up with this in your mind. It might just be a sign, that this series makes us all a bit mad? But 'mad' in a nice way, I'd say^^

As I'm not that far and only have seen 15 Episodes, I can't say anything to your actual question^^

I didn't know you were watching it!!! I cried when they killed off Graham. True fandom tears. I had thoughts about where Ruby's story was going and was completely taken by surprise by what they did but it was WONDERFUL! She is, and always will be, my favorite character. I have a thing for wolves! *grins*

I haven't cried, but my neighbor might have heard my 'Nonononononnononononooooooo!' ^^ Graham I only saw as a nice eyecatcher until his big episode. And when I really fell in love with this character they killed him off instantly. WTF?! Mean, mean people! But yeah, they did sooo great with Ruby! Oh god how much I love this series! Haven't been in love like that since leverage. I could squee and snarl about the characters all day long. How awesome is Rumpelstilzchen? And how much does Snow Withe suck? And... And... And... So much love for this series!

I was intrigued by Graham because we knew there was something going on with him. I'm also continually wondering about him and Ruby because, as you may remember, he fears the wolf that lurks on the limits of the city.

I'm not a Rumple lover. He's deserved everything that has happened to him! Of course, you can say that about all of the characters! I would tell you that Season 2 gets better and better but I don't know how long you have to wait for it.

I'm up to speed with the second season. Just watched the latest episode yesterday. I love the second season!

Rumpel definitly deservse everything he gets! I just enjoy the complexity of his character (Regina's also since she became more then just an evil bitch, sorry witch^^). And Robert Carlyle's performance as Rumpel is just so frikkin awesome. It's so much more enjoyable (for me) then this stupid Snow White (and as Prince Charming for that matter too, but the imperfection of David, made it a tad bit more endurable. Also my first thought, when I saw him was 'Fandral!!!!' and I couldn't hate him ^^'

I assume the curse must have prevented them from noticing certain things, or else they would have realized that NONE of them were getting older. I mean, they were there for twenty-eight years! People usually age in that time.

Henry was presumably exempt from the curse, which is why he aged, and why he eventually noticed that he was the only one getting older. Or at least that's what I like to tell myself. :D

I think the curse fogged their minds and no one ever noticed that Henry was aging.

As an example of the curse fogging power in action, I point out how when Emma looked at August's changed leg, she saw a normal leg instead of wood.
