lar_laughs | Good ol' fashion whine

I have had one of the most horrible weekends to date. Having to work on Saturday was THE LEAST of what bombarded me the last couple of days. Germs have been dogging my heels for awhile now but I've kept them at bay BUT I went to bed late on both Friday and Saturday night. That was because I had this project that OF COURSE took more time than I assumed it would. Even with my mom helping, I only got the bare minimum done by this morning.

So I woke up feeling crappy this morning. And then I get to church and the kids were, well, kids about the whole project. If I'd been well, I'm sure I would have smiled and dealt with it. But I wasn't feeling good and so I left church, drove the two blocks back to the bed I'd only left twenty minutes before, and crawled back under the covers. That's where I was for nearly 10 hours. I had Netflix going on my iPod, which I propped up against some books. That is how I know that I slept on and off all day, at about 10 minute intrevals. I'm not sure if that means that I won't sleep tonight or not. It certainly means that I haven't done any writing for THREE DAYS. And that's what irritates me the most about this weekend.

Must just remember that nothing is worth not sleeping. Not even my beloved Littles and Not-Littles that will be kids about anything and everything that I do.
