Incidently, I ran into an old playlist from a story I was writing years ago. It's full of Backstreet Boys (SaraJo was filling my ears with their songs and they just sort of it), Dana Glover (she gives smooth a whole new dimension!), and Saving Jane (girl empowerment songs for the win!). Age hasn't taken too much of the shine off this collection and I'm almost scared to ruin it by trying to introduce other songs into the mix. I always ruin it!
Streetlight People is going VERY WELL! I'm closing in on 39k and a great majority of that is SP, although I've started one Christmas Avengers project and a FandomAid project. I've lost a lot of world building that I'd thought I would need to use but the world has evolved as I've been writing so I'll definitely need to add some of that in edits. For the most part, the plot itself is moving along nicely. I'm also really enjoying the characters! Both of these things are different for me at this point because I usually hate one or both of them by this point in any large story. It is the bane of Aster's life that she has to put up with me complaining about how much I hate a story when I've gotten so invested!
It's time to stir some things up. An explosion maybe. Perhaps someone will die. *rubs hands together* Something big needs to happen. Huge!
