I'm home alone until this evening. This, of course, meant that I bought silly food and stayed up too late and have had way too much caffeine to drink. But I'm not a silly teenager any longer so I've now cleaned up after myself and had a sensible dinner.

It also means that I have control over the television remote! I don't normally watch TV downstairs but I've been able to keep the room warm so it's all good. I've watched my way through a lot of new Disney shows (Gravity Falls... have you seen it? I liked it!) but I've switched to FX. I finally saw Hancock (which I liked) and now I'm watching Iron Man 2 for what is probably the tenth time.

Each and every time I watch this, I get seething angry with Pepper. How many times does Tony try to start a conversation with her and she just talks over him. Sure, he's self-destructing in a way that seems right in line with the way that Tony would eventual break down but he's TRYING.

I can almost understand Rhodey not being on his side because it's not Rhodey's job to be on his side. Why, then, is Rhodey the only one who is remotely on his side??? Grrr... I'm not a Pepper fan in terms of the Tony/Pepper ship in the movies. I'm a Pepper fan when it's just the character. Just not the ship.

The Iron Man movies make me such a Tony/Steve fan, though. And a Howard Stark fan, which is not the direction most people go after those movies. And more of a Natasha fan every time I read it. I spend a lot of time trying to figure out different directions to take my head canon about where Clint is. I know New Mexico State of Mind has him not there but there is another story in my head that says that he's on comms with her at all times and that he's always up somewhere high, watching her back.

Huh... now Hulk is on AMC. I've not seen Bana and Connelly yet. I just sent the DVD back without watching it. The ten minutes I've seen so far is... interesting. Mutant dogs. And yeah, he's way too big.

Okay, parents are home and I swore to myself that I would take a shower before they got home. Oops! Guess I should go try to make myself clean now that they've arrived.

I loved Hancock. I don't know why more people didn't end up seeing it. I haven't seen Gravity Falls. I should check it out.

I didn't know what it was for the longest time and then I listened to people when they said it was "weird" which is strange because it isn't really that weird. I want to see it again because I didn't get to see the first part and now I think I'll appreciate it more.

I've only seen one segment of Gravity Falls but I really enjoyed it. The sister is kooky and fun. There's a mystery involved (in the Disney sense) and a supernatural element. It's super fun!

Gravity Falls is one of the better kids shows on at the moment! I love the way they have hidden clues within the eps (like symbols hidden in the background) and cryptograms that viewers can solve that are also secret hints and messages.

Does it? I didn't watch it nearly close enough to catch that! Now I'm going to have to find the first episodes on the website and check them out!
