It's Friday! Hooray! This won't be a relaxing weekend but at least it's a weekend! Coworker and I have discussing "geeky" jewelry and we decided I needed to have some to wear at the Denver con plus we needed to have business cards printed up if people asked me about it. One of the things in going to try to do is do some wire wrapping/weaving to make a Hawkeye target in purples and silver, like the comic. Anyone have any ideas for some Black Widow themed jewelry?

Ah ha! I hadn't thought about the hourglass until I saw your comment and we worked something up on paper! Right now, I'm trying to think of a way to combine the two of them onto one piece of jewelry. I've taken to heart that people don't necessarily want to wear something that screams "I'm a geek" so I'm trying to come up with pieces that are functional as everyday wear but the wearer could have the inner satisfaction of knowing that it's a Clint or Natasha piece.

Right now, it's all trial and error!

I feel like any Black Widow jewelry that doesn't have the ability to kill you in 2.14 seconds flat is an intrinsic failure on some level.

Well, it's not ACTUAL Black Widow jewelry. It's "inspired by" jewelry that anyone could wear, seeing as much workplaces frown on random killings before lunch on most days. More the sort of thing that would have Natasha shaking her head when/if she ever saw it.
