Very quickly now as I only have 10 more minutes online...

Today my lovely coworker tried to kill me. Okay, not literally but close enough.

If you know me at all, one of the first things you discover is that I faint. I'm a fainter. It happens less and less frequently now that I'm "grown up" but it still happens.

Yesterday a lady from the floral department cut herself bad enough that she had to go to the emergency room. Today she was looking around for someone to help her change the dressing. My lovely coworker told her, "Oh, I bet you Shelley could help you." Cause I seem to be able to do EVERYTHING!

So this lady comes up to me and says, "I need help!" and waves the thing around in front of me and I was like, "So?" and she said, "But you can help me."

And I nearly found the floor with my backside as the realization hit me what exactly she wanted me to do. I haven't been that close to fainting in a long time, especially over something as silly as a few stitches. It was just the expectation, I think. Anyway, had to end up sitting down for a good 10 minutes and then I went and got some lemonade because I was still fluttery and that helped. And now I can laugh about it.

Coworker will have to come up with another way to kill me! *evil cackle*

Oh... I understand this gut-reaction so well my stomach is doing a little queasy dance in sympathy. Heh.

Funny thing is... the next day I was able to laugh and joke with the same lady when she was buying some more gauze. It was just the possibility that I might HAVE to help. My stomach is funny!
