I was thinking I could have the whole weekend to write. Since this week has been rather "writing light", I figured I could use it to catch up on some things I have hanging out to dry in the wind storms that is my mind right now.
Come to find out this weekend is the weekend I will spend most of Saturday in a gym with a hundred or so 2nd - 5th graders. whoo... hoo...
The only thing that makes this at all redeemable is that I'll be able to hang out with the kids. They really do make me smile and I have a good time with all of them (even the 6th grader who thinks I'm weird) so this is no burden.
But... *lip quiver* I was going to write this weekend.
Oh well.
