We are now in a countdown to next Saturday. This time next week I will be without hair on the top of my head. To date, I've raised about $350 which is well below what I wanted to raise but about where I was hoping to get this year. A week ago I dyed my hair blonde and today I'm going green. It's mostly for the "shock and awe" so that I can tell more people about St. Baldricks but also because I've always wanted to dye my hair a strange color.
So this is what I started at. Actually this is me and my dog, Spencer, at Christmas time:
My hair now matches Spencer pretty well. Also in this picture, check out my new glasses:
I pulled some more color out hoping to get more "white" than "bright yellow" but it didn't work that well. I'm just BRIGHTER yellow:
And then my friend Lindsay put the green on and now I'm waiting ever so patiently:
