I'm not better. Not the way I thought I was better. My eye cleared up and I wasn't running a fever but then the weather was crappy this weekend and I got cold because I didn't have my jacket and I stood outside B&N waiting for my parents and haven't been warm since. I don't necessarily feel bad but I don't feel good. This sluggishness isn't even good for reading. I guess this is just a way for my body to take a break. It's happened before. I guess I was just hoping it wouldn't keep happening.
Anyone got any good character names they aren't using? I've grown lazy with my naming of late. Fanfiction can do that to a writer. The names that come to mind are very... modern. I need something less than modern. The more eclectic, the better.
There is a week left in May and it snowed this weekend. There are only two weeks left of the school year. AND IT FREAKING SNOWED. Not a lot but enough to be depressing. That's the way this area is, though. Spring sneaks up here. Bad for fruit trees. Nice for the air conditioning (or lack thereof). It does make this time of year sort of depressing. People all over are already talking about how hot it is. I'm trying to figure out if I need to wear something heavier than my hoodie every morning.
Still looking for potato recipes, if you have one that you like. One of the ladies I work with gave me a really good idea - writing up my experiences and seeing if the Idaho Potato Commission (yes, there really is such a place) will print it up. It would be a local sort of thing but how awesome would that be? So far it's pretty funny what I've made and how I've made it and what I've thrown out. Some I've even made a second time. It's like a potato EXTRAVAGANZA at my house! *g*
