I left an prompt at the AWESOME LADIES FICATHON that I don't know if anyone will write but if they don't, I want to write it.
You can find it HERE at the source. It's a Zoe (Firefly) prompt. What makes me love it is that I was listening to Pandora while coming up with prompts and this song (Cosmic Love) came on. Feel free to choose a different video - I happen to like her live in Glastonbury because there's a bit of character about the videos.
I used the first two lines as the prompt. Tell me that isn't Zoe! I dare you! Tell me!
Anyway... this is really me pimping the Ficathon again. There are SIXTY SEVEN pages of comment prompts of just about every fandom out there. Seriously! I dare you to find a fandom they don't have. If you can find one, I will WRITE YOU a story for a prompt you come up with that fandom (although I'm not guarenteeing anything phenomenal since the odds are good that I won't know that fandom).
I'm going to work on another story tonight. I LOVE COMMENT FICS! If you haven't ever done one, they are so much fun! The stories don't have to be lengthy works of classical mastery. It's about having fun and showing some love for the fandoms you enjoy. My goal is always to pick a few prompts that I'm not completely comfortable with and see if I can't come up with something. It's good practice! The great thing is that no one has to see it if it doesn't work out. You don't have to promise anyone anything!
You might even try writing Zoe mourning the lose of her "sight"...
