Many of you may know by now that I've been raising money for childhood cancer research via St. Baldricks, a truly cool and unique organization. Well, today was the day when it all came off. Yep. No more green hair. It's ALL gone!
To start us off right, a bagpiper came and shared a few songs. He was awesome!

The shavers (real beauticians who have to sign up just like the shavees) start in on Mandie and I

My sister, Mandie, is a Pediatric Oncology Nurse in Boise. One of her newest patients, Jayden, really wanted to get a chance to help shave her hair off. Here he is doing some touch ups.

Getting all the hard to reach spots

Team B.I.C. (Bald is Cute)

Some of the crew from St. Luke's.

Sisters!

My scalp was still very green. Well, blue actually but that is another story...

My adorable sister! It was a little sad to see her curls come off once again after she grew them out for two years but it was soooo worth it!

Last, but most definitely not least, here is Mandie with Ty. He was the boy we shaved for this year. Because Ty has been in remission for a year (HOORAY!) he had a full head of beautiful curls (but I would never say that to a 13 year old) but he shaved it all off with the rest of us on Team B.I.C. and raised a good amount of money while at it! He is an awesome kid and I am proud to know him! You'll never meet a cooler teenager!

As soon as I get the link to the video, I'll post it here.
If you'd like to donate to a very worthwhile cause (75 cents of every dollar goes to research because most of the events are put on with volunteer labor!) there is still plenty of time. Every penny counts towards this fight against cancer!
And to those who have donated, MANY HUGS FOR YOU! Thank you so much!
So what color should I go next? *grins*
