Books and TV

I'm watching Run, Fat Boy, Run and it has the hysterical Dylan Moran in it which got me thinking about Black Books so I went to Amazon and bought the whole series. Pity that it was only a couple of seasons. Three, maybe?

Anyway, also saw that Charles de Lint has a new book coming out so... had to get that, too. Well, pre-ordered it. I'll be getting a nice package in November!

I enjoyed Black Books (and Run, Fat Boy, run) - my favourite episode is "Grapes of Wrath" (1.3) My family still paraphrases the "everything's so very *dirty*" and "not these over here...just these over there" wine bottle mixup. And the "none of this..." rant from the second episode.
I've just started watching "the IT crowd" (also by Graham Linehan) which has similar characters (crazy Irish bloke, nice but odd guy, woman who's more normal but not as much as she thinks she is).

I've never really seen in true order because I first saw it on PBS and then on youtube so I'm looking forward to having the FULL series to have and enjoy ALL the time!

I've seen ads for The IT Crowd. I'll have to check it out!
