A beautiful morning... if you can say that about Monday

First... I love Twitter because it lets me be sarcastic to a limited audience. Last night I listened to some of the 10th Wonder podcasts that I've been missing and discovered that Greg Grunberg and James Kyson Lee (two of my favorite actors because of the series) are on Twitter. If this morning is any indication, they are VERY ACTIVE Twitterers.

Second... Did you know that Teal is the official color of Ovarian Cancer Awareness? There is a site called Teal Toes that is calling for people to paint their toes Teal to spread awareness of the disease. Two things... I don't wear a lot of open-toed shoes or I would be all over this BUT I can do this for my sister's wedding because we're wearing flip flops (at this point) and her colors are close to Teal! *g*

Third... I really need to create a database of the addresses I'm sending letters to so that I don't have to use the phone book when sending out thank yous and I can remember who has already gotten a letter. I'm too lazy to send one out, though.

Fourth... Coke points have become easier to redeem but I'm still miffed how hard it is to get the prizes. I have the points but the site doesn't cooperate and then it'll be gone when I go back to try again! *pouts*

I almost forget!

For those of you not on my Facebook page, I'm shaving my hair (all of it!) to raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. I'm doing it in honor of Claire Reyburn, a 12-year old from here in the valley, who is currently in treatment for Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor. She is the daughter of a woman I've worked with.

Needed to put up a BEFORE picture on the site so I got out my camera phone yesterday and took some pictures. This is the pic I put up on the site.



And this is a pic of my sister doing this last year. She looked funny with a reddish-blonde curly mohawk!
