From the 'Rents new toy

Posting from the new downstairs desktop PC. Sweet things really do come in Dell boxes! Lovely 19" monitor (that needs to be lifted up a bit to be more comfortable) and nice new keyboard (that doesn't SHIFT fast enough for me... will need to work with it) and a lovely little tower. These things are getting smaller and smaller and smaller!

Really on this one and not Millan upstairs because I'm trying to download the St. Baldrick's video. It's nothing special... just me loosing my hair! *grins* If you haven't seen the pics on my Facebook, I really am bald! Well, I've got about... half an inch? of hair. No. More like 1/4 inch. It is growing and I really like this do. Well, with the exception that my neck gets cold.

I raised a little over $1500 which is COOL. Decided not to let the bald head go to waste and I'm still "hitting up" people for donations. As little as $5 would help out a lot! Don't let my sister raise more money than me!!! If you'd like to donate or simply look at the pictures of the event, check out my donation site. I'm in second (in total donations collected by an individual at the Boise Event) right now! I want to be closer to the first place spot - although I don't necessarily think I'll catch her... nor do I want to. She shaved her head for her son and that's just cool!

Almost done with Specials by Scott Westerfeld... love it! Knew I would but I've been burned with literature lately so was slightly skeptical. Can't wait to get Extras and see if it's just as good.

... I am following in the footsteps of my wonderful fellow Tweeters and putting my Tweets behind a cut and taking out the posts that are to specific people. Thank you for sticking with me through this learning curve of figuring out how to keep a record of my day! It's so much fun to once again have a connection at my fingertips all day long! My phone is the bestest toy ever!

Incidently, if you're a Heroes fan, most of the crew and a few of the cast (the funny few) are on Twitter, twitting up a storm. They're so much fun! I've learned a lot about what goes into the background of the show as well as fun pics! Give it a try!
