Anyone else watching Person Unknown this summer? Thankfully I recorded it because I took TWO phone calls during the first airing. That's the only two phone calls I've made all week long.

Then there's The Event which I might try to watch if I come across it. At this point, I'm not looking for these shows but if I come across them, I'll watch them.

Reading through the new TV Guide tonight to see if maybe there's something new I need to be watching.

And now I have some cooking ideas.

I don't have a barbeque. That's not a bad thing because fire and I are scary together. But I like to eat hamburgers during the summer with the best of them. So I bake them (frying is nasty) but that means they sit in their grease. Ick!

A few days ago I cut a green pepper into a wide circle and placed it in the pan and the hamburger on top of the slice. Very good! Tonight, I discovered the green pepper had gone bad (it was getting old when I cut it open) but I still had some lemon... so I did the same thing. Slice of lemon under the hamburger. EVEN BETTER! Try it! I'm thinking of trying other types of vegetables to see if I can't find some interesting combinations with beef.
